VISITA DEL COLEGIO KAJAANIN LUKIO DE FINLANDIA

El pasado martes día 6 de mayo tuvimos el honor de recibir a una representación del "Colegio Kajaanin Lukio" de Finlandia.

Fueron 2 profesoras acompañadas de 13 alumnos del equivalente al bachillerato en España, quienes compartieron una mañana viendo las instalaciones del colegio y asombrándose de la originalidad que nuestro centro desprende por los cuatro costados.

Los alumnos han venido de viaje de fin de curso a Barcelona este año, y no querían volverse a su país sin hacer una visita al centro, como muestra de agradecimiento al viaje que el pasado verano del 2007 alumnos del Balmes hicieron por tierras finlandesas.

La visita al Balmes fue corta, pero provechosa. Quizás en el futuro se pueda establecer un intercambio cultural entre ambos colegios...

Last Tuesday May 6 we had the great pleasure to welcome a delegation from Kajaani Lukio School from Finland. Two teachers and thirteen students from Bachillerato level shared their morning with us. We showed them the school´s premises and they were amazed of such an original concept of school as we have here at Balmes.

For them, it was their end of the year school trip, and this year they decided to come to Barcelona, but they did not want to return to their country without previously having visited Balmes, maybe in exchange to our visit last summer 2007 to Finland.

Their staying was short but profitable. Perhaps we could set up some kind of future exchange between both schools...
