Vocational Courses Lower Degree (CFGM)

These studies allow students to obtain the TECHNICIAN degree. It is a 1300/1400- hour course (one year) or 2000- hour course (two years).

With these studies students can get a good training in an easy and practical way in order to have access to the job market.

You will also have access to these studies after studying the Access Course to CFGS and taking the official exam to the CFGS. Besides, yo´will get some training in companies while studying.

Will you have to work when you finish your Vocational Course?

These courses are included in the Vocational Training Program (PFP) that the school offers.
These studies lead you towards taking a different vocational course at the same level or you can take a course that prepares you for the access exam to the higher vocational courses that we also offer at the Balmes school.

Vocational Courses Higher Degree (CFGS)

These studies allow students to obtain the HIGHER TECHNICIAN degree. It is a 1300/1400- hour course (one year) or 1700/2000- hour course (two years).

With these studies students can get a good training in an easy and practical way at a company in order to access to the job market.

You can also have access to University studies and allow you to obtain a higher degree as a Teacher, Technical Architect or Technical engineer.

Will you have to work when you finish your Vocational Course?

When you finish your course you have three options: you can start working, go to University or keep on studying another Vocational Course Higher Degree.

Working Guidance

Balmes School´s purpose is that students see that everything they do at the Vocational Courses has been planned to help them to find an immediate job.
There is a Department that helps you to get in touch with the working world.

From this Working Integration Department you will receive all the information and guidance you may need to be able to face any job.

We will also follow through your relationship with the company and we’ll guide you in case you find any doubt or problem. We know this is a vey important issue for you, and it is vital for your future. That is why we pay a lot of attention to it.

Employment Exchange

We have had a long experience in the business world, since the time when the Balmes School was a Job Training School and opened doors to different enterprises. Today it has been growing up with the new educational system.

Our students´ names are in the data list of the Working Integration Department. Therefore we can help companies when they need to cover a position. In this way we can offer you a wide working market, where a great deal of our students are already working.
