Those students that have finished any Vocational Course Lower Degree and that would like to keep on studying any Vocational Course Higher Degree, will have to pass an external exam. This is the way to access to any CFGS for those students that don’t have the Batxillerat Degree, the COU Degree or the FP-2 Degree.

In order to take this exam you must have some requirements:

1) You must be 20 years old (in the year you take the exam) or more. And you must have at least 6 months´ working experience or you must have done FP-1 o a CFGM.

2) You must be 18 years old (in the year you take the exam) and have the Degree of Technician ( CFGM) in the same field you want to course your studies (CFGS). There a three different paths to follow depending on the type of specialty the student wants to do.

• 1st Path: Building and civil work, Mechanical manufacturing, Wood and
  furniture, Graphic Arts, Fabrics, Manufacturing and Fur, Maintenance and
  Production Services, Maintenance of self-propelled vehicles, Electricity and
  electronics, Communication, Sound and appearance, Seafishing activities.
• 2nd Path: Chemistry, Health Services, Personal Appearance, Physical
  Activities, Food Industries, Glass and Artcraft.
• 3rd Path: Administration, Trade and Marketing, Tourism and Hostels,
  Computers, Social Cultural services for the Comunity.

The tests has two parts, a part for all the CFGS and an specific one for each specific CFGS.The first part of the test has four subjects: Spanish and Catalan Language, a Foreing Language and History. The specific part has two subjects according to the CFGS chosen.
